RPTKA & employer compliance

Foreign worker plans, headcount changes and the records your company keeps for every expatriate on the payroll.

Every company that employs foreign workers carries obligations of its own: an approved foreign worker plan (RPTKA) listing the positions and number of expatriates, the compensation fund payments, and up-to-date records when people join, move or leave.

We maintain these for you alongside the individual permits, so the company file and each employee's permits always match.

How we handle it

  1. Map

We map the positions and headcount your RPTKA needs to cover, including Indonesian counterparts where required.

  2. Apply

We prepare and submit new RPTKA applications and the changes your plan needs.

  3. Maintain

We keep the company's records current as employees arrive, transfer or leave.

Documents usually needed

  • Company business licence (NIB) and deed of establishment
  • Organisation chart showing the positions for foreign workers
  • Company tax ID (NPWP)
  • Details of the Indonesian counterparts, where required

The exact list depends on the case. We send a checklist for your situation after the first review.

Questions

Do we need a new RPTKA for every employee?

Not always. An approved RPTKA can cover several positions and people. Changes are needed when positions, numbers or work locations change, so we review your current approval first.

What is an Indonesian counterpart (pendamping)?

For many positions, foreign workers are paired with Indonesian staff for transfer of knowledge. We record the counterparts as part of the company file.

Tell us who is coming and when.

Send the passport and position details on WhatsApp and we reply with the steps, the documents and a schedule.
