KITAS extension & renewal

Extend stay permits before they expire, with every date for every employee and family member tracked in our system.

Stay permits must be extended before their expiry date. A late application means overstay, which Indonesian immigration law sanctions with fines and, for longer overstays, deportation.

Our system tracks every permit's expiry date, so we start renewals ahead of time and your team only needs to confirm.

How we handle it

  1. Remind

We contact your team well before the expiry date.

  2. Prepare

We collect updated documents and check passport validity.

  3. Extend

We submit the extension and return the updated permit details.

Documents usually needed

  • Passport and current KITAS
  • Sponsor letter from the employer, family sponsor or institution
  • Updated documents if the sponsor’s details have changed

The exact list depends on the case. We send a checklist for your situation after the first review.

Questions

How early should we start a renewal?

As early as the rules for the permit type allow. We contact your team well before the expiry date and schedule the work from there.

The passport expires soon. Can we still extend the KITAS?

The passport normally needs enough remaining validity to cover the extension. Renew the passport first, then we transfer the permit to the new passport.

Tell us who is coming and when.

Send the passport and position details on WhatsApp and we reply with the steps, the documents and a schedule.
